Summer Rugby Camp IrelandLocation : Dublin:
Length of camp: Two weeks Ages: Suitable or students aged 12-19,boys and girls Ability level: All levels. Participants are assessed on arrival and assigned a group by the coaches . Programme: Rugby Camp in Ireland for international students. The rugby camp participants reinforce their technical competence of the game of rugby (strategy, speed, agility, power) and receive training in nutrition and sports psychology. Both Irish and international students attend these camps. Accommodation: Host family accommodation Irish Host family accommodation is provided with no other student of the same language as far as possible but not absolutely guaranteed. For this programme other International students may be present in the host family. Dates : Check back for 2021 dates Camp times: : Classes run generally from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm there may be slight variation from day to day. Equipment: Bring a change of clothes. A mouth guard/gum shield is required during all activities on camp. Bring rugby or football boots with regular studs. Arrival and airport transfers: Meet and greet on arrival at Dublin Airport and transfer to your host family. Arrival must be to Dublin Airport. Arrival Saturday or Sunday before the commencement of the camp. Departures Friday evening or Saturday are best. Sunday is a day for activities and enjoying meeting friends of the host family. Length of camp: One week Ages: Suitable or students up to 14 years old, boys and girls Football , Hurling, Camogie organised by GAA Rugby organised by Connacht Rugby. Soccer organised by FAI Ability level: Juniors all levels. Programme: These camps are attended mainly by Irish children and often the children of the host family participate in the camps. The host family will arrange travel to and from the camp. This one week programme may be part of a longer stay with your host family. It is a great opportunity to meet many Irish children and be introduced to the group by your host family. These camps are attended mainly by Irish students. Irish Rugby is world renowned. Enjoy rubbing shoulders with talented Irish football players. All programmes are provided in the English language. Accommodation: Homestay accommodation is provided with no other student of the same language. Dates 2021 : Camps are mainly in July, student may extend a stay into June or August. Camp times: Generally from 10.00 am -1.30 pm There may be slight variations between organisations and venues. Equipment: Bring a change of clothes.
